So here are a few "behind the scenes" photographs I took this morning of the advertisements that will be hanging around the area for my art show in August. They were printed by a local printer by the name of Andy Kahmann (his business is A to Z Letterpress of Montevideo, Minnesota for those who are curious - go check out his stuff). The prints were all made using an antique printer! How cool are they!? ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHFe50pON7p3UrhcXuNlekUf3yF3azwQopvsJEXw9MrAmFsPQwQtigfbKdjIaGGrOsP9l-VAFlDkR4h10yuVdjOuaYJlz9u-dv26XFIYqP6l-PaFh2xD0rxwD40PzWaLHdlXcz4fdJtDdf/s400/JLB_7277.JPG)
The prints with the red coloring are the "final" prints that I decided on. I will upload better quality images soon of the finished product.
This is whats called a "linocut carving" done by a lady friend of Andy.
And finally, a small sneak peek of the props that will be used for the images. Wooden sticks, mason jars, ripped up pillow cases, and antique lanterns galore!
Happy Friday everyone! See you next week with more updates.
I'm super excited for your exhibit now! How cool!
